Vehicle Detail

“I can’t drive….55.” So says Sammy Hagar. Sorry, Sammy, but here’s a ’55 you CAN drive! And with 58,171 original miles, you can keep driving for a long time! For your consideration, we are offering a 1955 Chevy sedan Model 210, Style No. 55-1019. There’s a very helpful website that gives a lot of info on this model. You can find it at http://www.oldride dot com/library/1955_chevrolet_210.html This is a one family car, staying with the same family since it was purchased in 1955. We do our absolute best to completely describe everything we sell on Ebay, but please feel free to ask any questions, come and take a test drive, check the pictures….we’ll be happy to do whatever we can to help you with your due diligence. Let’s start with the mechanical side of things. The car runs well. The six cylinder engine fires right up (with the help of a new battery that was just installed) and the “three on the tree” transmission shifts smoothly. Quick note – this car was not touched up in any way. We would rather present it to you the way it is and have you form your own opinions. On the exterior, the paint looks good but is not without its imperfections. Please see the pictures for details. It appears there was paintwork on the front left door and fender. There may be other places, but those were the areas we saw. Most of the chrome is in great shape….the right side of the rear bumper has some chrome that is off and needs some attention. Please check the pictures of the wheels and fenders. There is some paint that needs some touch-up. There is a small rust area in the inside of the left rear door. The top looks to be in great shape. The undercarriage looks intact as well, with only surface rust apparent. Let’s talk about the interior. The seats and floors are in great shape. Please see the pictures to get an idea of how they’ve really survived the past 61 years. The dash and other panels are in terrific shape as well. The rubber trunk cover is intact, the metal under the cover is solid, and there are extra wheels and tires included. The headliner has some staining but is intact. Even the back deck, normally faded from the sun on older cars, is in beautiful shape.Bid with confidence. We take pride in our feedback and work to make sure every customer is completely satisfied. We’ve sold cars, trucks, motorcycles and motor homes with prices as high as $55,000. And every vehicle, every time, is sold with no hidden fees and an emphasis on strong communication. Please feel free to contact us with any questions. Thanks, and good luck bidding!
