1940 FORD 4 Door Deluxe Original 85 HP Engine Complete Rebuild NAPA machine shop Saratoga Springs, NY Transmission rebuilt - Front & Rear end rebuilt Brakes completely redone, including; New wheel cylinders, master cylinder, lines and hose fittings, turned drums, new drum bearings. Everything has been apart and rebuilt not just cleaned – front and rear. New clutch, throw-out and pressure plate. New ring gear – All new bearings New safety glass and interior, including old style seat covers. 5 Newer tires and tubes on true and balanced wheels Engine Compartment - Has all been checked and rebuilt including; Generator, Starter, Fuel Pump, Carburetor, Distributor, Steering Box and Column Radiator & Gas Tank Rebuilt by North Country Radiator, Inc. Queensbury, NY Rockers & Floor Pans, Running Boards, Trunk & Tool Compartment All Solid. POR-15 Undercoating - Lots of re-chroming. Body Is Extra Solid Original Have tons of receipts. Car was mostly rebuilt by Linus Barber of Saratoga Springs, NY Reason for selling the 1940 Ford Deluxe is because I do not drive it enough. Only 114 miles in a years time. I just bought another Model A Ford and spending all my spare time rebuilding that and putting things in good working order. The 1940 Ford Deluxe has a big trunk – lots of room in the front & rear seats. Rear doors are suicide. The body is original with some road wear.
