The previous winning bidder is having some temporary setbacks and could not complete the purchase at this time. I'm not too upset because they did pay the initial fee and I get to do this all over again! Happy bidding! For sale is a 1978 Fiat Spider 124. I've had this vehicle for a dozen years and have really enjoyed it but moved to a smaller place and just don't have the garage space for it anymore. It handles like a sports car should and always turns heads. It's just fun to drive!! The old top needs replacing (I'm including a new in the box replacement) I have new red and black seat covers just installed on father's day but the red leather ones are not that bad. This car could be a daily driver or just a weekend cruiser. I just had it in the shop for a tune up and they rebuilt the carburetor and cleaned the fuel tank for good measure. My plan is to take it down tomorrow and get it inspected so it will be ready for the new driver. If my low reserve is not met I will just give it to one of my kids. They all love it and are mad at me for selling it anyway. This is NOT a show car. When I bought it I had it painted and went through the top end of the engine and it has maybe 300 miles on the tires. The paint is definitely showing its age but looks fine from 20 feet. I would not risk a cross country drive with it but a couple hundred miles I wouldn't hesitate. Tach, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge work but speedometer and clock do not. I believe I have one in the boot but never installed it. Low low reserve!
