1985 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible1 Family OwnedBought new, from a south Florida Cadillac dealer, by my father. I've owned it since 1997 when he passed away. All original interior and exterior, with ONLY 69532 original miles. Garage kept it's entire life. I've moved into a smaller house and no longer have the room to keep it. This is an original car, a driver not a show car. And, they're only original ONCE. It stays in my garage, under cover, except on warm sunny days. In 1997 I drove the Caddy from Florida to my home in N Carolina. I moved to Montana, and in the summer of 2006, I drove the car across country. With temperatures over 100 during the trip, it was great to have the top up and AC on. Tires were replaced approximately 5000 miles ago, before I drove it across country.Now it needs a few things to be back in perfect condition. This is what it needs:The top, being original, has dried and cracked where the top mechanism rubs it. Comes with OEM replacement w/o rear glassDoor bottoms have some rust from being a south Florida car (though it was always in an air conditioned garage)Alternator needs replacingHeater coreExhaust resonator (small hole from age)Right rear window gear tape broken--window motor works and will put window up, not down (have replacement gear tape for both rear windows)Light interior wear on driver's seat -- car is 31 yrs oldCassette player doesn't operate but radio and power antennae doAll gauges and controls work as from factory, including the trip/fuel economy computer, power top, power windows (except as noted above), power seats, and power mirrors. I replaced the rear bumper filler about 5 yrs ago because it dried and cracked. The front fillers are in great condition, and original. The Caddy has been a very important part of our family since new. Logic dictates it's time for a new home.
