This is the deal... This car has attracted some interesting people. I'm going to be brutally honest because that's how I do things. Let me be clear that there will be a cash transaction when this car sells. No ifs ands or buts. This 1966 Corvette is for sale, this is not a fishing expedition. This car is legit there's nothing funny about it. The title is a clean, clear, signed NJ title. Owned since '93 and Garage kept by a good friend of mine. He bought the car when he was 18 because he always wanted one but it never drove like a modern vette so he wasn't excited to drive it. He offered it to me but but I have a Chevelle project that I want to focus on. I want the car to go to someone that wants it. I'll probably kick myself in 20 years. Mechanically this car is in excellent condition. The suspension was re-done, It had a new 350 crate engine installed, with all new components, between 5 and 10 years ago. It has less than 5000 miles on the engine. I don't know the actual condition of the transmission but I can tell you it shifts smooth and solid. The car starts right up, It drives down the road straight, it goes over bumps well. A friend of mine that has a local shop test drove it, he looked at me with a big smile and said "I can't believe how well this car drives". The interior is in pretty good condition there is a new passenger side dash cover in the package included with the car other than that the dash looks good. The top of the seat backs are cracked. Cosmetically this is in the same condition as it was purchased in '93. The original style radio is included. The headlights move up and down a little slow but do move and work. All lights and signals work. The horn works intermittently, It needs a new relay. The nose appears to have had some work done but what 50 year old beauty hasn't had some work. Now for the bad news, It looks like it was painted at the school for the blind. The car looks Great from 10 feet but the paint job is haggard. There is no heater box in the car. No blower fan no heater core. Without looking too hard I found 2 on ebay for about $500. Now you know the story. Please bid accordingly.
