Pamela Anderson's 1966 International Harvester Scout 800 This is a no reserve auction! Up for auction is Pamela Anderson's 1966 Scout 800 with an extremely rare Scout automatic transmission. Pamela has owned this Scout for the past 7 years and it has been one of her daily drivers. She drives the Scout regularly around Malibu and for the past few months used it as her primary vehicle. Pamela Anderson can be seen driving this Scout on television and it has also been featured with her in magazines as well as used in various ad campaigns. The Scout is fun to drive and turns heads everywhere it goes! This is a no reserve auction with a portion of the proceeds from the final sale going to charity. Bid to win! Scout Details: Replaced or repaired over the past seven years: Painted arctic white Fuel tank replaced Fuel pump and fuel lines as well as vacuum lines replaced Fuel filter replaced Custom-made air filter base Breather cap Installed on oil filter Air filter replaced Distributor cap and plug wires replaced Battery connectors replaced Insulated hood hold bar (to prevent possible battery connection) Reassembled emergency brake cables to transmission crossbar Custom-made driveshaft Front and rear U-joints Custom-made crossmember transmission support Extremely rare automatic transmission for Scout Complete tear down / rebuild of the rare transmission including the following: Torque converter All Clutches inside the transmission were replaced Rear yoke replaced New Modulator Adapter plate had to be sourced and installed (this was very difficult to find) Custom shifter (went through three different ones before finding one that would work with this particular transmission set up) Custom shifter mount and bracket Slip yoke had to be replaced Transmission cooler was added as well as all new transmission cooler lines Alternator bracket replaced Floorboards and inside of doors were soundproofed Seats were recovered with white Sunbrella fabric Brief videos of the Scout can be seen on the FilmCarRacing Youtube channel. The paint job looks great but does have some blemishes/scratches. Review all photos carefully before placing a bid.
