I loaned money to a friend who is a BMW enthusiast and he purchased this car. But he was unable to pay me back and fix it up as he had hoped. I now have the car in my yard in California and need to move it ASAP (I am lien holder and have title in hand). I don't know much about old BMW's except for that 2002's are desirable and the ones with sunroofs and Recaro seats are hard to find. So this is your opportunity to get a good deal on a collectible car because I need to move it this week. Auctioning off with no reserve. The car started and ran as of June 20, 2016 when it was brought to my property. It has passed smog and is registered through DEC 2016. THIS CAR BEING SOLD AS IS AND BUYER TAKES CAR OF ANY AND ALL MECHANICAL ISSUES INCLUDING SMOGGING FOR NEW REGISTRATION. There are minor dents and rust and some missing trim on the outside. One noteable item is that the passenger door does not open all the way due to a conflict in the door and front fender alignment. The interior is in good shape with minor wear and tear on the front Recaros, and the rear seat appears to have been recently recovered.
