Item Description: Up for auction is a Classic 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis LS -Built on the luxury "Panther" platform, along with the Lincoln Continental Mark VI and the Ford LTD Crown Victoria, this vehicle is equipped with the plush "Ride Engineered" suspension and a 302ci (5.0 liter) electronic fuel injected 8-cylinder engine with an automatic transmission. The odometer displays 100,417 easy miles. This is a two owner vehicle. Primarily garage kept, prior to me, the car was owned and pampered by my grandfather, a master mechanic and auto shop business owner. Never missed a service date. -Completely functional electric seats, electric windows, and electric door locks, with all new electric window hardware and new front door lock actuators. -Ice Cold "Automatic Climate Control" AC with new heater core installed in 2011. -Original factory amplified AM/FM/Cassette Premium Sound System with electric antenna and new speakers. (Not sure about cassette player as I have no cassettes, but the radio still jams!) -Brown velour seats, door panels, and carpet, all in great condition, with the original front and rear floor mats included with the car. -The exterior of the vehicle is the original deep metallic brown with the padded vinyl half-roof, rare "frenched" rear window, and left and right side-post coach opera lamps. -Original factory "turbine" style aluminum wheels, and tires with 90%+ road life left on them. -Car is equipped with removable 2" tow bar, and trailer brake and signal lights connection. -Fresh tune-up and oil change, with new oil, air, and fuel filters, new distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. -Starts, runs, and drives fine. -Car comes with original owners manual, original jack and lug wrench, full size spare tire, spare serpentine belts, spare electronic fuel pump, and a set of factory 1985 Ford Motorcraft shop manuals. Note: there is a slight impression in driver side back door skin and a small ding on the left rear wheel well trim where someone brushed the car when leaving a parking space next to it. Apparently their bumper slid alongside the "ding strip" because there were no scratches in the paint as you can see in the pictures. All taxes, fees, and other title transfer costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
