1970 VW single cab. Volkswagen pick-up flatbed tr 1970 Single cab with 83,852 original miles, but frame is rusty. NO RESERVE!!! I use this truck all the time along with my 1969 double cab for work. I need garage space for a little Smart car I just bought, so it's for sale. I've had it for about 5-years and it's never let me down. It drives straight down the road. Most pics are right after getting caught in rain today! All lights, signals, horn, interior lights, etc. are in working order. It has a clear and open Massachusetts title which I never put in my name (friend has an insured transport tag that I'm able to use). I've always used recreational fuel (non-ethanol) in my older vehicles, so the fuel system is clean. Non-smoker owned, no odors at all. Tuned-up, valves adjusted, new fuel filter 6/9/2016. Keys work ignition, both door locks, & both treasure chests. Both treasure chest doors have chrome original covered latches (Been offered $500 for the pair!) Small dent on rear gate by mechanic that bumped into it, doesn't affect the gates at all (see photo). New front brakes and brake hoses, stops straight. New 185R 14C correct load tires. Recent Interstate battery & rebuilt carburetor. Emergency brake not working, needs securing. It has a very rusty frame! Unibody above is solid. It has not gotten worse in my 5-years of ownership as it's garaged. Solid body, but rust through in several areas. If you can weld, or have a friend that can help with that later, it's a perfect VW. Great sounding retro AM/FM/Cassette/iPod connection stereo with twin 4" Pioneer's hidden in original dash speaker location. Clean, dependable, fun & great running rat-rod Volkswagen single cab!
