I have for your consideration a 1986 Chevy C/K D30 military truck. This truck was build new by Chevrolet in 1986 for the USMC, it spent most of its life running around the hills of WV on a Military Installation. It was sold of as military surplus and was eventually purchased by me! The fact that it spend 95% of its life in WV means that it is in very very good shape rust wise. Only signs of rust are a very small spot on the drivers cab corner, the underside is surprisingly clean! some of the paint is peeling off the bed rails underneath but nothing to get excited about. This truck has the original 6.2L V8 Detroit Diesel motor, the engine runs very very well with almost no smoke etc. Not sure if the glow plugs are working and if it sits for an extended period of time the fuel will drive back to the tank and you have to crank it over a bit to get it flowing again. (an electric lift pump would solve this problem) anyway all of the lights work, the truck has a set of hummer H1 wheels and tires on it with the nylon run flat inserts in them. the tires are in new condition still have the factory paint lines on them. 4X4 works great! trans is a turbo 400 3 speed. will run 50mph down the road, the trans has no overdrive as it is geared to climb the side of a mountain not cruise interstate. I love this truck and i hate to see it go but i need to move on to other projects. please don't hesitate to contact me with any other questions. The truck Leaks nothing, has 2 brand new battery's. has a working heater, wipers work etc. no radio. has the factory military brown seat, in good shape except for a tear on the drivers side, i have a spare seat that goes with the truck. tail gate opens and shuts, truck has the military factory black out lights except for the one missing in the front grill thats about the only thing that is "missing".
