Bidding on a 1973 MGB GT project car that I bought a few years ago when I still thought I'd finish all my projects. Doubtful so this GT is the first one to go. I have a 65 pull handle roadster that'll be next. This GT was redone a number of years ago by a local MG club member. He rebuilt the engine including a Weber carburetor, header and Ansa type exhaust system. The motor runs pretty well with good oil pressure. It has an overdrive gearbox, wire wheels, new carpets, new door and rear panels, along with the Moss wood veneer kits for both the dash and center console. The seats are the correct fabric seating surface ones. It starts and runs fine. Brakes and clutch work but I haven't driven the car except in the shop yard. It will need tires and the clutch pedal seems to release high to me. The floors look good along with the trunk floor. There is some rust in the very outer edge of the floor, and the passenger dogleg panel has some rust. The paint on the car is really ugly. The previous owner repainted the car in it's original color but added metalflake to the paint. There are various small holes in the body that once had accessories bolted on like headlight covers, a side mount aerial, and rear spoiler lip. The strange hood scoop has a hole underneath to provide cool air so it'll probably need a hood. The seats and tracks are present but not bolted in, same with the seat belts.
