2004 Corvette Z06 Commemorative Edition. This is in exceptional original condition. 1 of 2045 total Z06 commemorative Editions produced. 2004 was the last year of the C5 (1998-2004) edition and to commemorate this final year they produced this Corvette, as well as to honor the success of the Corvette CSR racer at the 24 hour race at LeMans, France. This Corvette has traveled only 5627 actual miles, and is part of a private collection of car enthusiast and stored in climate controlled environment. The Commemorative Corvette came in only one color which was LeMans Blue with distinctive red and silver hood and rear deck graphics. For the very first time in GM history, a carbon fiber hood was standard equipment for the Z06 Commemorative Edition. To distinguish this feature, a special carbon fiber stripe was placed along side the red and silver graphics. For 2004 the suspension of the Z06 models were revised to improve cornering ability without ride quality sacrifice. This included: refined shock absorbed valving, stiffer upper control-arm bushings and softer rear anti-roll bar bushings. The interiors of the Commemorative Z06's only came in black leather and this interior is in excellent condition. The equipment list on the Commemorative Z06 is quite lengthy so only the highlights will be featured. It includes; power speed sensitive rack and pinion steering, power front and rear disc anti-lock brakes, power door locks with remote entry, active handling, airbags for both dirver and passenger, tilt leather wrapped steering wheel, cruise control with resume, six way power driver's seat, power windows, AM/FM Bose stereo with Cd, heads up display, which are unique to the Z06, electronic rear window defogger, the original window sticker, consumers information sheet and the original owner's manual. ** THIS CAR WILL NOT BE SOLD UNTIL BUYER HAS IT PERSONALLY INSPECTED OR PROVIDES A PROFESSIONAL INSPECTION.
