Selling my used VW Golf TDI. The vehicle is not currently in working order. The turbo is in need of replacement. Since 2013 I have put $4,500 into the vehicle in repairs and have paperwork to prove that numerous items have been replaced and updated. All of this work has been done at the dealer here locally and they would be happy to provide records directly if necessary. (Street VW of Amarillo, TX) Here is what has been done: New fuel filter 12/2014 New fuel pump 12/2014 New timing belt 6/2015 New serpentine belt 6/2015 New tensioner kit 6/2015 New water pump 6/2015 New left/right wiring harnesses in trunk 8/2015 The dealership has told me the vehicle has a leak in the turbo and the entire unit needs to be replaced. I have elected to replace the vehicle and sell it instead. The car has 170k miles, which is not a lot for a diesel engine of this type, especially with all the recent repairs and maintenance it has had. The vehicle will need to be repaired on sight or put on a trailer to transport it. I can make arrangements for this if necessary but they will be at the buyer's expense. TITLE: The title is in my name and is clear. DAMAGE: The vehicle has some hail damage and some wear and tear. The front right fender has had a clip come off and will need to be secured. It does not rub on the tire or the ground. There are minor cosmetic issues on the exterior and interior that I have photographed. The moonroof does not work properly. Mechanically it will run backwards but a retention clip of some sort has broken so it gets stuck. I have had 3 very minor incidents with this vehicle. The first was damaging the oil pan under the car when driving through snow over a rock. The second was damaging the oil pan driving over another rock more recently. The third was damage done to the right-front quarter from a pole while pulling out of a parking space. All of these were repaired through insurance and I haven't had any additional trouble from those incidents. Please write with any questions you have. The car blue-books for around $2,500.
