Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 2001 Silverado Z71. It's a really great truck, runs very strong, and only has minute problems considering it's age. Only real problems I've noticed is that the driver's side door latch doesn't recognize that the door is opened, which means that the radio doesn't shut off automatically, and the motor which actuates the heater blend door (that allows either hot or cold air through the vents) has died (A/C blows cold and heat blows hot, however). I have both of these parts, and they're very simple fixes (youtube videos aplenty), I just haven't been able to find the time to sort them out. Options are listed in the last image of the window sticker (save for the rhino lined bed, in great condition), which are plentiful and much appreciated. 4WD is rarely needed in snowy conditions thanks to the limited slip rear diff (though the 4x4 works fine too!) and should you feel the urge to make use of the off-road capabilities, the skid plates will make sure your oil pan comes home with you too. It's a really great truck, very clean exterior and next to no rust besides some cosmetic blemishes on the rear bumper, and very, very, light surface rust on the frame, as depicted. I've put about 20k miles on it since I've owned it, mostly in highway commute, but I can assure you it's never been beat on or abused. Oil and tune up done about ~1500 miles ago, so I wouldn't hesitate to drive this thing cross country in a pinch. This truck will last a very long time and not disappoint it's future owner. Blue book value of this truck ranges from $5600 for fair to $7000 for excellent, and this truck is certainly closer to the later on that scale. Sold as is, where is, but I would be willing to help out with shipping should the need arise. Though, as I said, this thing will drive anywhere. If there's any more information you'd like, or more specific pictures, just shoot me an email and I'd be more than happy to oblige. $500 deposit due within 24 hours, with the remainder of the balance due, and vehicle picked up, within 7 days of auction end. Good luck, and happy bidding!
