Now on to the auction, Your here for a reason, you want a corvette well here is one that is an almost dead giveaway..! No Reserve final bids owns this Corvette! Here are some foot notes on this 88 corvette.. New additions for the 1988 Vette included carpeted door sills, solution dyed carpet and improved ventilation for coupes. A new muffler system was standard on coupes with the 3.07:1 rear axle ratio, it provided an extra 5 horsepower due to its less restrictive flow. The new muffler system was deemed too loud for the convertible and the 2.59:1 rear axle ratio coupes and was not installed. Standard brake rotors were thickened and suspension changes were made to improve control during heavy braking. The Z51 and Z52 options were upgraded to include 17 x 9.5 inch wheels with P275/40ZR-17 tires mounted on them. The Z51 option (only available on coupes) also included a finned power steering cooler, higher spring rates and larger front brake rotors and calipers than 1987. What we have here is a 1988 C4 Corvette, has very low miles reading 80600, I recently purchased this after it had Been buried out west in a garage a few good years, Has brand new battery, new fluids & fresh gas it fired right up. Could use body and paint work has scratches and scuffs dents & dings, some typical of a 28 year old car. its not perfect. Digital dash flickers sometimes hood release needs attention, not bad for an almost 30 year old Corvette, all this is easy weekend fixes, Runs really well although I do recommend a good going over prior to being driven down the road. Has decent leather interior with aftermarket kenwood cd stereo system & Ice cold a.c This corvette has a ton of potential. This is the least expensive one listed on ebay..it just needs some love and you got a great summer cruzer..As with all used cars its recommended that you come see it take it for a drive or have it inspected to form your own opinion. I have described this 1988 chevy corvette to the very best of my known knowledge, its not a new car and im not the original owner. This Corvette is being sold as is all sales final..
