Vehicle Detail

96 Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Our loss is your gain! We purchased this car for our son while he was attending business school. Next month, he is working in San Francisco so he no longer needs a car. Calling the car, a creampuff would be bit of an exaggeration; however, the interior and outside is almost creampuff condition. Certainly a very good looking car! Now for the less good news. The brakes need work (they grind a little when you stop), the trunk is very tough to open (spent 20 minutes trying to get son’s college letter jacket out of the trunk … I failed), the back floor mat gets soggy at times (you got me …), and the engine light glows now and then (like whack a mole – we fix and two weeks later comes back on). Now for the soft sell. Great sunroof that actually works very well! Reliable enough to last two years of school commuting including a road trip to Nashville, and drum roll … we paid $4,800 (the dealer immediately figured out I was a sucker for the car’s good looks). My EBay rating is PERFECT (460 transactions). Reason is simple: when I buy, I pay real fast and when I sell, which is fairly rare, I tell the truth. With that said, you are buying the car “as-is”. Please let me repeat, you are buying the car “as-is”. And no refunds! Let me repeat, “no refunds”. I’m starting the auction at $480 which is ONE TENTH of what the car cost me two years ago. To put this amount in perspective, I spent $740 to get one new windshield wiper installed on my Audi wagon last month! This car works really well for someone that likes to mess around at the auto hobby shop (not sure if there is such a thing …) Also, helpful if you named your first two kids “Brake Pads” and “Engine Light”. Email me any questions. Car located in suburb of St. Louis MO (Clayton). And happy bidding!
