Make: Buick Model: Riviera Year: 1968 Mileage: Odometer now reads 12,702. The exact actual mileage on car is not known. The mileage was 110,046 when purchased by the current owner on 12/10/1992. The speedometer cable was broken when purchased by the current owner. Best guess estimate from service receipts is 115,000. Owners: 2 Color: Black, Exterior & Interior. Complete with: Car Cover, misc. spare parts, Shop Manual, Owners Manuals, Owners Papers, Original Dealer's Sales Brochure and a large large file of Repair and Maintenance Receipts. History: Original California owner consigned this car to a collector car dealer (California Dream Car's, in Van Nuys California) due to health issues in 1992. Present owner (a Meticulous retired engineer) purchased this in 1992. Always Garaged. Driven very little by current owner mostly to local car shows. Features & Options: Vinyl Top, Sport Wheels, PS, PB, Factory Air, AM/FM with Rear Speaker and Power Antenna (working), Tilt Wheel, Wiper Delay, and Clock (working). Condition;Exterior: No body damage (Dents, Dings or Flaws). Black paint is Glossy and Near Perfect with no fading or cracking. Vinyl Top is Perfect with No Rips or Tears. Chrome is Beautiful with no peeling or flaking. Glass is Perfect with no cracks or chips. The Original Owner had the Car Restored/Painted in 1992 at a cost of $8,360.00 and was taken to bare metal. Original Detailed Receipt is included. Interior: Carpet and headliner are near perfect. Seats have no rips, tears and have only very slight wear. Door panels are near perfect. Sun Visors have minor wear. Steering Wheel has minor age cracking. Mechanical: Motor starts and run smooth. Transmission shifts perfectly with no problem. Engine was taken out and completely rebuilt top to bottom in 1990 at a cost of $5,680.00 by the Original Owner. (Original Receipt included). Brakes are fine. No leaks except for a drop or 2 of Power Steering Fluid over the years. No Problems. Tires are Remington P215/75R/15 purchased in 1994 and show very little wear. Mileage as stated is very close to accurate. The speedometer cable was broken when purchased by the current owner and promptly repaired. Flaws: A) Drivers side rear window in not working. Probably from lack of use. Switch and contacts probably just need cleaning.B) Directional Signal when making a right turn does not cancel. A Original Buick OEM Replacement Switch is included. C) Current owner installed a new vacuum pump to power the hideaway Headlights but did not hook it up.D) Air conditioning is original and not modernized. It could use a charge.E) Radio is a little scratchy from lack of use. Switches just need cleaning. Summary: This is a Beautiful Car Throughout. It has been restored cosmetically and mechanically and needs nothing major to be Perfect. And it has been meticulously "Babied" and maintained by both Very Particular Owners, and has lived its whole life in "Rust Free" California and Nevada. NOTE!: I am Not a "Car Dealer".
