IT CAME OUT OF AN ESTATE. IT WAS RESTORED A FEW YEARS AGO AND KEPT IN A CLIMATE CONTROLLED BUILDING. THE BODY AND PAINT ARE VERY NICE..PAINTED ITS ORIGINAL COLOR WHITE CODE #50..ORIGINAL WHEELS AND HUBCAPS ARE MOUNTED ON MICHELIN XVS TIRES.. IT COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL HARDTOP...EXTREMELY NICE...EVEN THE WOOD INSIDE THE REAR WINDOW IS ALMOST PERFECT....... THE SOFT TOP WAS JUST PROFESSIONALLY REPLACED IN GERMAN CLOTH (BROWN).....ALL THE BRIGHTWORK IS EXCEPTIONALLY NICE....ORIGINAL MB-TEX SEATS AND DOOR PANELS ARE IN GOOD CONDITION....ALONG WITH THE SOFT TOP, ALL NEW CARPET WAS PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED...THE DASH IS BEAUTIFUL...ALL GAUGES WORK..THE ORIGINAL WOOD TRIM IS ALMOST PERFECT. THE HEATER CONTROLS WERE REPLACED AND NOW OPERATE AS THEY SHOULD..YOU COULD NOT ORDER AIR CONDITIONING FROM THE FACTORY IN 1970...HOWEVER FRIDGI KING MADE AN AFTER MARKET UNIT WHICH COULD BE INSTALLED BY THE MERCEDES BENZ DEALER...THIS CAR WAS ONE OF THOSE CARS...APPARENTLY THE PREVIOUS OWNER DECIDED NOT TO PUT THE AIR CONTROL BOX BACK UNDER THE DASH , BUT LEFT THE COMPRESSOR AND OTHER COMPONENTS MOUNTED UNDER THE HOOD.....WE DO NOT HAVE THE BOX....THE ENGINE RUNS WELL AND THE CAR DRIVES GREAT...OVERALL THIS IS AN EXTREMELY NICE DRIVER ALMOST SHOW QUALITY,.THAT CAN BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED FOR MANY YEARS TO COME....THESE CARS ARE CLIMBING IN VALUE EVERYDAY....AND THIS IS A NICE ONE.....DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE AN INVESTMENT THAT CAN BE DRIVEN AND ENJOYED..........
