You are bidding on an awesome, fun, street legal Dunebuggy. If you are looking for a buggy, this one is for you. This car was rebuilt about 12 years ago and has only 3500 miles on it after rebuild. The rebuild included: new floor with reinforcing supports, new wheel cylinders and bearings, new brake lines, brakes up front with calipers and rotors, new emergency brake handle cables, reconditioned carburetor and brand new gas tank and lines. Engine is a 1600 cc dual port, includes all receipts. All gages work. The car has Premiere Racing Products seats. It has a Pioneer stereo with a CD player and rear mounted speakers. The buggy has a tuck and roll seat and the buggy seats 4 people. It has the nice original VW rear tail lights. Windshield wipers do not work. This is how it was when I purchased it. Never had the need to repair it. I don't drive it in the rain (it has no top!) The body is really nice thick fiberglass. The paint is in good condition and the flames on hood are great. As with most VW's it does leak a few spots as it sits. If you want a ton of fun and a car that doesn't need work to be done, this one is for you. You won't be disappointed. The car has been a blast to have for the last 10 years but our kids are older and we don't drive it much anymore. Its time to let someone else have the fun. As with any used car, you are buying AS IS. I will expect $2000 within 30 hours of close and balance to be paid at the time of shipping. Shipping is at buyers expense but will help in any way I can. The vehicle is also available locally and auction can end early.
