Vehicle Detail

This is a clean, mostly original rider that needs nothing. It has current Virginia State Inspection, and is ridden a couple times a month. With the age, and low miles, most bikes you would buy, you would have bad fuel and rusty tanks, not this bike. The tank is clean and free from rust, it lives in a climate controlled garage, and gets a diet of Ethanol-free fuel. This is the second time I have owned this motorcycle, and is my favorite of all I have ever owned or ridden. Its fast, stable, and comfortable. The 99 is the first year, and came out of the box with no speed restriction, or timing retard in the lower 4 gears like the 2000 and newer. This bike has the capacity to increase the front sprocket by 1 tooth which enables speeds of well over 200mph, I have seen an indicated 196. This bike is also 10 lbs lighter having an Aluminum sub-frame, 2001s and newer came with steel. The bike has the rear seat and grab rail, as well as the cowl. Following is a list of recent maintenance;Heavy Duty Chain and Sprockets - less than 2400 milesHard-welded and Back-cut Trans - Fast by Gast - less than 2400 milesEverything listed below is less than 400 miles:New Shinko 0-degree, Dual Compound Radials - (stickier, and turn better than Power's) IMHONew Brakes front and rear including rear rotorAll hydraulics flushed and Speed Bleeders installedNew OEM Fuel Pump, Lines, O-rings, and injectors cleanedNew Coil packs, and plugsNew BatteryCoolant flushed and filled with Engine Ice New Race-Tech front and rear suspension including Gold Valves and new springs - set up for heavier rider or two-up. This is a really nice bike, probably would be a forever bike for me, but a knee injury has made it a Garage Queen. NO RESERVE AUCTION!
