Here is a original 1961 Fairlane 500 with 65,994 miles showing on the odometer.It has the inline 6 cylinder engine, and 3 speed manual shift transmission on the column. The exhaust system is still in good condition, and the car is equipped with 14" wheels/tires from the factory. It is overall complete, missing a few pieces of the exterior chrome. The front seat and dash are nice, rear seat has a couple of small holes in the back cushion. Someone removed the transmission for repairs, believe a bearing noise. I have the original transmission, plus an early Mustang transmission, goes with it. The brakes are still working, and the body will need sheet metal repairs, seen in the pictures, same body as a Galaxie, and parts are available, all glass is good. Also, I have the horn ring for the steering wheel. I worked on the engine and have it running, sounds very good and no smoke.
