Vehicle Detail

My Cutlass is probably the most original, unmolested, cleanest, straightest, lowest mileage convertible you could find. It has been pampered its entire life, and it shows in its current pristine condition. I purchased it from the estate of the original owner 10 years ago with 44,000 original miles, and I have added 4,000 wonderful trouble-free miles since then. I am certain when you see my car you will agree the miles are original and the original condition is amazing. My Cutlass is definitely a show-quality car, without spending 25-35 thousand dollars to restore it. The beautiful paint is almost 100% original and shines like glass; all of the body is original and laser straight; it has had NO body repairs in the past. All of the chrome and stainless is perfect. The interior is as new, no splits, cracks, nothing dried up from the sun. Other than routine maintenance, it is 100% original, mechanically totally unmolested and original. It has been maintained to a very high standard by its two owners including being stored in a climate-controlled garage. It runs as good as it looks, powerful, responsive and quiet. To exercise the car, I usually drive once a year from my house in Pennsylvania to family in NY, 240 miles round trip, never any problems. All of the glass is perfect; the top is as new and operates perfectly. As you can see in the pictures, the body is unbelievably perfect and laser straight. There is NO RUST: body, floors, frame, etc. I have a small collection of Oldsmobiles accumulated over many years in the classic car hobby. Old age and poor health are the only reasons I am selling any of my cars. As perfect as the car is, all 50+ year old cars usually need some minor attention. When I decided to sell the Cutlass, the only preparation I did was to remove its cover and wipe it down with a damp cloth. I purposely did not detail under the hood or trunk: I want the new owner to see how original it truly is. There is a small spot of rust on the left side of the trunk floor; I purchased the proper piece of metal to repair it, if the new owner would like to. The radio was changed back in the 70's as was the style at the time; this is the only change from original. The last issue is the A/C compressor clutch. My mechanic damaged it last year installing new belts too tight. The entire A/C system is fully charged (never any leaks of freon) and works, but the clutch needs replacement--approximately $250. Please come to see my Cutlass if you are nearby--you will be amazed. Study the pictures--if there are any others you require, let me know. I will make it available to be evaluated by you or your mechanic or an independent appraiser if you would like. I will assist your shipper, if necessary.
