"Interesting find" This is an original TWO owner 1986 Chevy Scottsdale K-20 (3/4 ton) long bed, Step side, 4x4 with "Service" utility boxes. The truck starts right up and the 5.7L V8 4BBL carbureted engine sounds very healthy and runs extremely well. The transmission shifts on time through all the gears. The 4x4 engages properly and functions correctly in both low and high gears. The brakes, steering and suspension all felt great on our test drive. The entire drivetrain is solid and tight. The climate control system worked properly when tested and the a/c blows cold. The radio works. The odometer reading is 53,103, however according to the vehicle report and overall condition we believe the total mileage to be 153,103. Please note: The truck has two fuel tanks and only works on the drivers side tank.-Carfax/Auto Check certified no accident original California vehicle. Average Auto Check score is 29-53, this vehicle scored a high score of 57 (report available upon request).-The paint finish appears to be all original with a nice honest patina. The chassis and frame are solid. There are small dents and other cosmetic imperfections (see pics). The overall look is nice and the truck is attractive the way it sits. This is the perfect truck to make perfect. The truck is turn key and you can drive and enjoy for work or pleasure as-is.-No accidents-Rust free truck chassis, frame and floors.-Cab corners are perfect! There are some minor metal imperfections on the corners of the utility boxes in the rear of the truck, they are still perfectly usable and the flaws are not all that noticeable.-The interior is in decent condition for it's age and does show some wear and tear.-Tires are decent however new tires are always recommended This is a nice find and should provide the new owner with years of on or off-road enjoyment. With the factory wood bed restored and some other cosmetic TLC this can be a really awesome truck!
