Vehicle Detail
Health forces sale; I am the second owner of this beautiful Pearl Yellow GL1800 and have enjoyed it since 2005. The original owner used it strictly for freeway commuting in Southern California. Excellent condition, never been down; ready to go anywhere. Oil is changed every 4,000 miles; I have only used Rotella T6 full synthetic oil since I bought it. About 500 miles on new tires. Front is a Bridgestone Exedra 709; rear is second generation Dunlop SP Sport 5000 195/60 16 (first one got 33,000 miles). The Escapade Elite trailer pulls very well; you can't tell it's back there unless you check the rear-view mirrors. It has 26 cubic feet for up to 350 lbs of cargo, 12" wheels, locking cargo box, and air-shock suspension designed by Progressive with a special damping cartridge offers superior damping, even when the trailer is towed empty, . Not a lot of bling added; Baker Wind Wings, handlebar risers, pillion arm rests, trunk rack, glove box power supply, windshield vent, Kuryakyn saddlebag molding lighting, new front and rear speakers, and a trailer hitch. New spark plugs were installed at 60,000 miles. I did have a brand new swing arm, differential, and rear rotor installed at around 65,000 miles, just because a local trike conversion shop offered me a deal I couldn't turn down. Same thing for a new rear brake caliper and pads installed at 81,000 miles. Factory recall for the rear brake master cylinder has been done within the last 1,000 miles; front-and-rear brake lines were flushed and filled at that time. New front-and-rear wheel bearings were installed in February of last year. I am including an easy-to-read waterproof Magellan Crossover GPS with 8 hour battery and a Tyredog 4-wheel wireless tire pressure and temperature-monitoring system. Bike and trailer have been garaged since I bought them. Title is clear; please email me with any questions or considerations, or to have someone inspect it.
