1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore Known as the "Red Rocket" back in the day.This bike is 98% original except Upgraded Handlebars, Scott Grips, Shorty Levers, Rear Shocks upgraded to Öhlins Gas Shocks and tires. This Honda CR250 Elsinore is in great shape for its age, it was running when it was put in storage a few years ago. No play top end, no play low end. It has the upgraded Öhlins Gas Shocks Sweden in the rear, upgraded handlebar and levers. Today we brought it home from storage to put on ebay since we do not use it, and there is no spark. This bike does not have points so it is either the cdi or coil, (on ebay $100). I was going to list it at $1,800 like the past 2 that recently sold on ebay but since the new owner will be buying a new coil or cdi I am listing it at $1,500 to give you $300 room for parts. There is a separation on the front seam in the seat cover on the right and left side and a tear in the right fork gaitor. I am not going to work on it so it is as is. The last picture is the WA Release of Liability and licensing we got when we bought it, there is no title but I will include this paperwork with my bill of sale to you. This was a really nice bike to ride with quite a bit of power but I ride a 1994 KX500 with a big bore kit so that is why I decided to sell this CR250. Close to race or ready to restore Nevada Off Road Bill of Sale will be provided at pickup so you can register it with OHV dept to get your sticker or registration or to prove legal ownership.
