Really extraordinary first generation MiataMy MX-5 is mostly driven on weekends and the previous owners did the same, which accounts for the true mileage of 60,3XX. This Miata is as close to mint condition as any 21 year-old car that is driven regularly can be. Original, shiny paint. No accidents, no dings, no scratches. Runs perfectly and everything works, except antenna motor. Adult owned. Never raced. I have extensive records, including the owner's manual. Clean CarFax. This car was on display in the California Auto Museum for the month of March, 2014 as part of a Sacramento Area Miata Owners Association event.The previous owner was the service manager at a major imported car dealer in Sacramento, CA. He was meticulous in caring for and modifying this Miata. I've carefully driven and maintained this car as well. Since I bought it in 2013, the only major work on it has been front brake rotors, new pads all around, timing belt, plugs and wires, battery and performance tires. The only problem I encountered with the car was less power than it should have been making. I took the car to a performance shop that has a chassis dyno. We discovered the problem was a vacuum hose. After fixing that, horsepower at the rear wheels went up to 137. I've read that more can be wrung out of this setup, but I favor not stressing out the rest of the drivetrain.
