I am Listing this Car for a friend Who asked me to Help Sell the CarI will Do my Best to Describe the Vehicle Only 6846 Thunderbird convertibles were produced in 1965/ DMV says there are only 274 left on the road making this a RARE CAR---- lowest production number of any Thunderbird convertible This is a 1965 Thunderbird Convertible that My friend bought on Ebay 2 years ago for the Tidy Sum of $17,000.00He had the car shipped and low and behold there was alot of things that did not work. So over the last 2 years He has spent close to $7000.00 getting the car restored This Car would be considered a Very Good Quality Thunderbird / overall in Very Good shape. It has a Solid under body with the Inner and Outer Rockers being very solid ( very minimal rust under car / well preserved ) .The low center of the Trunk was repaired before he received the car .The Original Color of the Car was Midnight Turquoise but a Respray Of Thunderbird Birch White was done on the Car. (There are no rust bubbles on the car anywhere ) Interior is original with the Two -Tone Turquoise and White combination which is in very nice shape. Power Windows all work / The Drivers Side Was Rebuilt. Power Door Locks Work / Power antenna and Radio are all functional Even the 4-way flashers and Door Ajar Lights Work. All Lights Work including the Sequential Taillights ( New Sequencer ). A New Fuel Tank was installed as well as New Brake Booster and Brake Lines. The Convertible Top Frame is in Great Shape. The Top has no punctures or Holes and the Window is Clear.The Power Top goes up and down in proper sequence ( Was completely Rebuilt with new Relay's and Switches). The Chrome on the car including the bumpers are in great original condition.Very Bright with Minimal Aging The Thunderbird has the original fender skirts but are currently not on car ( there is a pic ). Swing Away Steering Wheel is fully operational The Thunderbird has the Original 390-4 Barrel Engine which Runs and shifts very smooth. The Engine has had a recent tune-up as well as the Carburetor was rebuilt. All New Hoses and Belts were done to the engine for reliability. So-------- Now the Car is a completely functional Quality Thunderbird.
