Idle is smooth and the truck is very quiet. The engine sounds very healthy. The clutch is great and shifting through the gears is easy. It is a 3 speed with granny low gear 4x4 works properly in low and high gears. The truck runs strong and feels solid. The brakes, steering and suspension felt normal and she stops fine. Mechanically the truck is very sound. Since the truck was close to the beach it does have some rust spots (see pics). The frame and undercarriage are solid and the majority of the truck is rust free. The rust that we found is pictured below. The paint is old and has a nice appeal. Pictures speak 1000 words so be sure to review them carefully to get an idea of what your buying. With some TLC this 4x4 can really be a cool and unique ride, or just drive around the ranch or to Home Depot as-is. Overall this is very cool, classic 4x4 Chevy pickup...... for the people who like little technology.The tires are ok however they do have dry cracks and should be replaced soon. As with any pre-owned/un restored vehicle there will always be imperfections cosmetically or mechanically.
