*AUCTION DIRECT SPECIAL* This convertible is a local BMW dealer trade in. Being sold at a DEEP DISCOUNTED price. Non-smoker, Solid, strong running 1999 BMW Z3 2.3 convertible (engine is 2.5L). Car runs good with no vibrations, service lights, or engine noise. The A/C IS ICE COLD!!! and all electronics and mechanical items seems to function properly. The top has stitching separation at the window edge, and currently functions manually, as it is out of sync. The tops motor seems to function fine. Most wear on the car is on the interior components as seen in the pictures. Both window regulators functions, but move a little slow at times, so I am assuming they just need lubrication. I have personally driven this car over 200 miles within the city of Atlanta with no problems or issues whatsoever. From a maintenance view, it will need to have the thermostat replaced at some point this year. (The temperature runs cold sometimes, hovering around 11 o'clock half the time, and half the time it is correct at 12 O'clock). Also, the valve cover gasket will need to be done soon. I just replaced the battery, and the tires have good tread and even wear. I would suggest for the new owner to change all fluids including oil and transmission for a fresh start. I have attempted to catch any cosmetic imperfections in all pics posted, but the exterior is in very good condition for its age, and seems to be all original with no prior paintwork.
