For sale or trade is a 1988 Porsche 944. The transmission is automatic and it is in need of a new water pump and body work. The car runs but is currently parked because it is need of water pump. I am a college student and do not have the resources or funds available to make this fix. I have had the car professionally diagnosed and the water pump is the only mechanical issue. The brake light is on on the dash, but that is for the rear brakes, as the front brakes were just replaced. Before the water pump went bad, the car drove like a charm. This car has new front brakes, a new alternator, new tires, a new AC compressor and condenser and an upgraded sound system. Subwoofers will NOT be included, but the setup, other speakers and 1500 watt amp will be. This is a solid car and has been very reliable other than the water pump. The only things that do not work on this car are driver's exterior door handle, the passenger's electric side view mirror adjuster, the odometer and the fog lights. Currently the odometer reads 85,370 but it broke about two weeks before the water pump broke so the actual mileage is around 85,450. The body and interior of this car are solid aside from one scratch on the front drivers side of the car (visible in first photo), a cracked mirror under the passenger's sun visor and the back carpet, which needs to be either replaced or re-covered. This car has an upgraded exhaust as well as DVD player and cold AC. This would be a great car for someone who has the resources to fix it. I was supposed to trade for another car plus cash, but someone hit my car and smashed the quarter panel on the day I was supposed to sell it. 2200 OBO
