1989 Mercedes 560 SL Convertible plus hardtop! Silver with middle-red interior. 143,319 well maintained miles on a Texas & New Mexico car. This is a nice looking and reliable daily driver that can be taken anywhere. A great car for enjoying spring with the top down! Purchased in 2010 at 131,000 miles and went through it mechanically and made sure everything worked. Original paint, like new soft top, new leather seat covers (10/2012), nice carpet. AC and heater work well. New front brakes and rear muffler @ 140,000miles. Less than 5,000 miles on Michelin tires. Replaced SRS contacts & airbag,O2 sensor, engine control unit, motor mounts, transmission mounts, belts, hoses and ignition wires. Reworked climate control system and replaced AC evaporator core, control valve, vacuum elements, heater hoses, and climate control push button unit. New headlights, Installed new cruise control module. One can tell from my tinkering I've had a lot of fun with it. Before moving to New Mexico I drove it daily on an approximate 160 mile business trips up to 3 days a week for several months in good weather. The vehicle runs great and I now drive it periodically from Placitas to Santa Fe and Albuquerque but it really needs someone who wants to drive it a lot and really enjoy it daily! The vehicle comes with a removable hardtop, storage stand, storage dust cover, and a top removal sling that can be attached to a pulley, cable and hand winch system installed in a garage that allows for one person removal and installation of the hard top.
