Vehicle Detail
Vintage 1968 Triumph Bonneville T120R Bobber You’re looking at a custom built 1968 Triumph Bonneville Bobber. This was a ground up rebuild of a 1970’s built chopper that has been kicking around the Southwest its entire life. The engine was completely rebuilt (down to the sludge tube) less than 100 miles ago. Literally every part of this bike has been gone through. It’s a great looking bike with many new parts and upgrades (more on that below). It starts on the first or second kick and runs strong. The engine is just getting broken in! The rings are still seating so it smokes a little on first start up (see the video). The pictures and video speak for themselves. I made a concerted effort to portray the bike in its true condition. It's not a show bike, but you’ll be getting a bike that’s ready to be enjoyed while you continue to tinker/customize/upgrade or run it as is! The clean and clear title is ready to go. I am happy to assist with coordinating shipping arrangements. Additionally, I can deliver within an 8 hour radius of Tucson, AZ for an additional $300 (Shipping fee + full payment needed ahead of time). Please don’t ask me if it will make the ride from Arizona to ***insert city name here***… It’s a vintage bike and things happen. I will answer any other questions as soon as possible. Paypal deposit it due within 24 hours of auction close. The remainder is due via cashier's check within 7 days of auction close. Happy bidding! Engine/Fuel/Electronics Freshly rebuilt engine – The bottom end was completely torn down with new bore job, pistons, rings, rod bearings, oil pump and seals throughout. This thing was rebuilt the correct way with care to clean out and replace the sludge tube. The head had a complete valve job and sports new guides. Brand new JRC Keihin carbs replaced the worn out Amal carbs Pazon Electronic Ignition (no points to mess with!) Battery-less electronics set up featuring a new sparx battery eliminator capacitor, regulator, and chrome Emgo coil. Frame/Controls/etc… The original frame has been hardtailed (frame VIN matches the title) Original front end with brand new (stock length) fork tubes 16” Harley rear wheel with original Triumph hub and rear brake Lowbrow customs Manta Rayrear fender Custom tail light/license plate assembly Biltwell solo seat and mounting bracket Vintage peanut style gas tank Vintage stainless steel oil tank The rear tire is due to be replaced soon. It has plenty of tread but it’s starting to show some age. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
