1954 Jaguar XK 120 SE (aka M ) This car was purchased in 1960 by my mother from an MD in Princeton NJ. My father drove the car for several years, then stored it. I got the car from my dad in 1960. Since then, I have repaired, rebuilt or replaced as necessary to keep the car road worthy. It has its original engine, transmission, final drive etc. All body parts are the ones it left Browns Lane with April 21st 1954. The speedomenter has been rebuilt. The odometer reading is from the rebuilt odometer, It read 92,298 miles when sent out for rebuilding. The car runs & drives properly on new Coker 6.50 x 16 radial tyres. It is a good solid honest car that has been cared for and not abused. The non original parts of the car that have been changed for reliability are: Delco 55 amp alternator fitted, Stainless steel flex radiator fan, Gustafson reduction gear starter, Momo steering wheel (original comes with the car), all of which are readily returned to original if desired. The car comes with a folder of receipts from my 26 years of stewardship and many spare bits & pieces.
