Vehicle Detail

1968 Dodge Charger The car has a 383, I believe its the original engine, its stamped 68. Looked at the right side were the pad by the motor mount is & there is no serial number (I heard that those years some did not come with numbers). Also, Vin tag states the car came with a 383, 2 barrel carb. I went through the motor when I first got it back in 2006, checked the bearings and it looks like somebody had already went through the engine. Installed a 525 lift cam & a set of 440 big block heads (from a 68), a brand new 6 pack setup, long tube headers, & MSD box. Trans is factory (1968), But with a different vin #. Installed 355 sure grip differential (the original was a 320 something). The front suspension is solid, Converted to disc brakes. A/C WORKS, has a small leak in one of the hoses, The car does not have a heater core. The car was painted in 2008, Dodge Viper Snake Skin Pearl Green. Has all new full quarter panels, roof, trunk floor, & floor pans. The rest is original. The interior was a dark green, But its been converted to black. The original paint color was olive green and had a vinyl top. The middle of the trunk lid near the stripe there is a paint bubble and a small one near the windshield, and another small one near the inner sail. also, at one point, near the trunk lid, water was leaking into the trunk, found some surface rust, fixed the leak, fixed the surface rust, and covered it in POR (on the trunk floor, its been 5 years and hasn't come back). I put $14,000.00 into the body work, about half of that went into body parts. Full quarters were $5,000.00 before AMD came out with theirs. The car is SOLID and runs GREAT. New shocks, rear springs, new radiator, a/c condenser, smaller updated a/c compressor, new windshield & gasket, installed tachometer in dash, Some interior parts are not installed due to the color change, I still have the visors and seatbelts. It could use a center console, its cracked in a few spots. Radio is in working order, but the speakers are not hooked up cause I took out the amp. I also have most of the missing trim. I don't have any time to work on the car, Selling for the money. Car was originally a California car, Spent some time in Maryland, Then its been in Florida as long as I've had it. Drove the car only on the weekends, Maybe once or twice a month to a car show & back. Questions are welcome, Starting bid is $25,000.On Mar-06-16 at 16:38:37 PST, seller added the following information: **All checks must be cleared and shown in my bank balance before release of the car and title.
