This is my wife's car. She is the original owner and has done the majority of the driving (the remainder by me). It has been garage kept in Chicago. It runs very well and is a lot of fun to drive. It also works surprisingly well as a GT car, having moved 4 adults on longish trips several times. The eBay auto-description isn't specific about this being a GTI. It *is* a GTI. It has the 200 HP gasoline engine and it has a 6-speed manual transmission. The car sports the original tires on 17" alloy wheels. Included in the sale is a set of Dunlop (iirc) winter tires, already mounted on another set of alloy wheels. The car has twice received damage needing repair: 1. a minor parking lot fender bender. the front grill was damaged and completely repaired. no structural damage.2. one of the power mirrors was knocked off. it has been replaced and everything works (power and heat). as noted in the condition section, there are a few minor scratches. normal wear/tear, especially for city driving. Reason selling: moving out of country. Otherwise, we would be keeping this car for years.
