Vehicle Detail
For Sale is a 2000 Dodge Viper GTS with less than 28K miles. I purchased this car 5 years ago in southern California with 22K miles on it. All previous owners were located in San Diego area or Arizona, so car has no rust or similar midwest issues. Car was shipped to Wisconsin via enclosed carrier. This auto is being sold because I retired recently and need to sell some of my casual vehicles. You'll find that this car has a completely clean Carfax report. I've used this car strictly to cruise around town and it's given me no grief what-so-ever in the time I've owned it. Oil changes are all that has been required. Some items didn't work when I got it and I have never bothered to have them updated or fixed. The air conditioner needs a recharge (no cold air), the upper dash air vents don't blow warm air (floor and windshield heat work correctly). Exterior of car looks very good although it does have small nicks here and there. The interior looks pretty good also per the pictures shown in the ad. The front right lower bumper trim has had a tear in it about an inch long since I got it (should be repairable with a plastic welder at a body shop, I've never bothered to bring it in). The car just passed it's Wisconsin emission test. I'm really going to miss this car for no other reason than just having it in the driveway to look at. It's a beautiful car, I think one of the best looking cars ever made. 3/15/16 9:30 PM: I was just informed from another Viper owner that the upper dash vents were never meant to blow warm air, so I guess that the upper dash air vents are working correctly after all. I was told that the previous owners installed the items noted below, I have not verified all of these items due to the limited visibility of some of these items once installed. -Heffner Performance intake system with dual K&N type filters -currently set up with Koni?(yellow threaded shock body w/blue springs) coil over adjustable shocks, both ride height and rebound? are externally adjustable -Baffled oil pan -Vented lower fascia for additional cooling (I've never had this car overheat in stop and go traffic) -It has been lowered about an inch, corner balanced and bump steer removed - handles amazing - Power steering cooler -adjustable brake bias valve -SST lines -Belanger Racing Products exhaust system ($4000) - sounds awesome -HD drive shaft and half shafts (Unitrax) -6 point harness on driver's side -poly engine and transmission mounts -various MG billet aluminum pieces such as the gas cap, dash knobs and license plate frame This car is sold as is, with no warranty expressed or implied and is available for inspection with a little notice to arrange a time to look at it. Title is clear and ready to go. The car comes with one fob programmed and an additional one that needs programming. The price noted is as low as any I've ever seen for any Dodge Viper GTS, and please note that this is not a SALVAGE car like most others you'd see for anywhere near this price. I need to sell this one soon as I need the space for the kid's motorcycle project. Included are the OE exhaust manifolds and stock shifter, also some other misc small stuff will be included. Note: I've bought and sold many vehicles via E-Bay over the years including one sent to France ('97 Plymouth Prowler) and have worked with one shipping agent in particular that's been outstanding. I will forward you their info upon purchase of this vehicle if you'd like the car shipped. They work with open and enclosed carriers throughout the USA and their prices are always comparable with similar shippers.
