Vehicle Detail
1987 Dodge Shelby GLHS ChargerLimited Edition #603 of 1000 Made2.2l Turbo with Intercooler5 Speed Manual TransmissionA/C (Works)Electric Hatch Release (Works)Car Runs and Drives Great Upgraded Shift Linkage: As with most Chrysler/Dodge products of this era, the shift linkage bushings wore out. We have repaired and upgraded these with the "L body Shift Linkage Kit" from Great Lakes Hot Rod. Works Great. Other than the Shift Linkage, I'm not aware of any other modifications to the engine or suspension. Despite being sold at Barrett Jackson, this car is NOT a show car. However, it is very presentable and road worthy. It looks great from 5'. We've driven it regularly since we purchased it and would not hesitate to drive it daily. Flaws:Very small Chip in Windshield.Paint has blemishes (not bad and overall it looks very good. Its just not new or show quality)Carpet - The previous owner replaced the carpet and did a poor job. This is a very cool car and in overall very good condition for a 1987. Note: The previous owner purchased this car at Barrett Jackson in 2013. This documentation goes with the car.On Mar-10-16 at 14:43:48 PST, seller added the following information: NOTE: All who have sent inquiries. All have been responded to but all have also "Bounced". Not sure why. I'll try and answer here. No Rust. Car looks like a 5 year old car underneath with the exception of the exhaust. No Spider or cracking on the bumpers. Paint appears to be original with exception of where there was a repair at one time. There is no flaking, cracking, peeling of paint. Headliner is original and in good condition for an original headliner in an 87 car. Interior is all original except the carpet. If the car is parked for an extended period of time it has oil spots under the car. Not sure the origin of the leak(s). It is not large. We're discussing a $6,000 car. Not a $20,000 car. It's not new, it's a 1987 priced as if it were a 1987. I've tried to convey as many faults as I know. Good luck.
