1954 Chevy Panel Truck. I bought this truck 3 years ago for $24,000 in West Virginia. Drove it home to Michigan & around town for one year with no problems. Then decided to do a complete paint job & redo the interior. While dissembling the truck for paint I figured it was a good time to upgrade a few things like the front suspension, steering column, steering wheel, starter, distributor, wiring & fuse panel, shifter, dash gauges, window regulators, door latches, strikers, hinges, fuel pump, filter & lines, fan belts, water hoses, trans cooler lines. Got most of this stuff done & was close to completion when health issues prevented me from finishing the updates. It will not take a whole lot to get back on the road. Some wiring, setting the new distributor, installing the glass, tweeking a few odds & ends is all I can think of. I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff, but old age is not my friend. The last 4 photos are of the truck before it was taken apart & painted. Here is a list of brand new stuff I have purchased: 1. High Torque Starter, installed 2. Aluminum Radiator, installed 18. Oil Pan, installed 19. Aluminum trans pan, installed 20. Cragar Mags, installed 21. Tie Rods, installed 22. Brake Calipers, Pads, Hardware, installed 23. Rebuilt Steering Gear, installed Truck also has: 1. 10 Bolt GM Posatraction Rear End (3:36 Richmond Gear) 2. Randy Ring & Pinion 3. Axles by Yukon 4. Chassis Engineering Rear Leaf Springs 5.
