Vehicle Detail
"Little GTO, really lookin' fine, 3 deuces and a 4-speed and a 389" That's what you're looking at here. A very nice 1966 Pontiac GTO with a rebuilt original numbers matching 389, Tri-power 360 hp, and a Muncie 4-speed that shifts well. The car runs and drives well and the top works quickly. The car is PHS documented and the data plate and build sheet confirm that it is an early 1966 (produced on Dec 4 1965). The exterior is a brilliant Barrier Blue with a very nice Parchment interior as per the data plate. I also have the owner's manual, protecto-Plate booklet, original convertible top manual, and original factory window sticker. The body of the car is in excellent condition with the body fit and gaps in great alignment. The paint is very nice and shines well. The body looks very straight as you look along each side from front to back. The body panels, hood, and trunk are nice and smooth. The car also has:Safe-T-trackred line tires in great shape and rally wheelspower steeringpower brakesAM-FM radiowood sport steering wheelRally gauge packagefactory lamp group (light under hood, in glove box, under trunk hood, in consoletinted glasshazardsAt a shop 5 years ago, the the trans, engine, differential, suspension, brakes, all gas and brake lines, rear end, springs, power steering, power brakes, and carbs were redone. All new hoses and brake lines done also.Approximately 2500 miles put on since the above was done. The underside of the car is very clean and solid and new factory undercoating applied. All lights work. Turn signals work. Radio works great. Wiper and gauges all work. The engine compartment and trunk are very clean and correct. Has spare and jack and convertible top boot. Excellent chrome and nice glass. The only thing not working on the car is the horn. This is a very sharp looking '66 GTO convertible that still looks as it did back in the day. Runs and drives well.
