I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 2001 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro with the hard to find 6 speed manual transmission. This is probably the most desirable A6 available. The styling of this generation of A6 is unique as it shares many of its features with the TT which was new at the time this car came out. These are beautiful automobiles that are very well proportioned. I would rate the exterior of this A6 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous Audi. The brown finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. There are no noteworthy scratches, dings or dents to point out. There are a few spots of corrosion around the LR wheel opening, which is common at this age. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Audi looks. The optional 18" alloy wheels really give this car an aggressive look and are wrapped in a nearly new set of Continental's. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights are also crystal clear with no haze. The xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road. This is truly an exeptional find. I would rate the interior of this Audi A6 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The light tan full leather interior contrasts nicely against the brown exterior. The more time you spend in and around this car, it is obvious that the previous owners took excellent care of it. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood veneers and interior plastics show very well. The optional deeply bolstered sport leather seats are extremely comfortable. The drivers seat show some age on the outer bolsters, which is to be expected. The leather is still soft and supple. All four seats are heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control sytem is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works exceptionally and the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The audio system is the premium Audi Symphony Sound with Bose speakers. The radio code is needed (which should be able to be obtained from your local Audi dealer). There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The optional rear and side window shades are in good condition. Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L BiTurbo V6 is shared with the Audi S4 which gives this car excellent performance without sacrificing room and comfort like you do in the smaller S4. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Even the valve covers and cam seals don't appear to be leaking, which shows that this car was probably very well cared for by her previous owners. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. She makes good power and is a very quick car. I've personally put the last 500+ miles on this car and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car well. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the rare 6 speed manual transmission are smooth and direct, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She feels solid and confident even at triple digit speeds. If I had to complain about something, it would be that you do get a wobble . This rare Audi has been in my ownership for a few months and gets driven occasionally as my personal car. I'd probably keep it but we have been working on a project here over the winter that will be my daily driver for the 2016 driving season, so I'm kind of clearing out the stables to make room for new meat. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a very rare 2001 Audi A6 2.7T Quattro with the hard to find 6 speed manual transmission. This is probably the most desirable A6 available. The styling of this generation of A6 is unique as it shares many of its features with the TT which was new at the time this car came out. These are beautiful automobiles that are very well proportioned. I would rate the exterior of this A6 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a gorgeous Audi. The brown finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. As with any older vehicle, please expect to find some imperfections and blemishes commensurate with age and mileage. There are no noteworthy scratches, dings or dents to point out. There are a few spots of corrosion around the LR wheel opening, which is common at this age. Please take the time to check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Audi looks. The optional 18" alloy wheels really give this car an aggressive look and are wrapped in a nearly new set of Continental's. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The headlights are also crystal clear with no haze. The xenon HID headlights do an excellent job at lighting up the road. This is truly an exeptional find.
I would rate the interior of this Audi A6 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION. The light tan full leather interior contrasts nicely against the brown exterior. The more time you spend in and around this car, it is obvious that the previous owners took excellent care of it. The door cards are clean and tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The wood veneers and interior plastics show very well. The optional deeply bolstered sport leather seats are extremely comfortable. The drivers seat show some age on the outer bolsters, which is to be expected. The leather is still soft and supple. All four seats are heated. The power windows, locks, mirrors, seats and sunroof all work properly. The trunk is spacious and clean. The climate control sytem is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works exceptionally and the air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The audio system is the premium Audi Symphony Sound with Bose speakers. The radio code is needed (which should be able to be obtained from your local Audi dealer). There are steering wheel audio controls, too. The optional rear and side window shades are in good condition.
Mechanically, this Audi appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L BiTurbo V6 is shared with the Audi S4 which gives this car excellent performance without sacrificing room and comfort like you do in the smaller S4. The engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine doesn't smoke. Even the valve covers and cam seals don't appear to be leaking, which shows that this car was probably very well cared for by her previous owners. The engine keeps perfect temperature at all times. There have been no idiot lights on. She makes good power and is a very quick car. I've personally put the last 500+ miles on this car and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car well. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the rare 6 speed manual transmission are smooth and direct, as they should be. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints. She feels solid and confident even at triple digit speeds. If I had to complain about something, it would be that you do get a wobble . This rare Audi has been in my ownership for a few months and gets driven occasionally as my personal car. I'd probably keep it but we have been working on a project here over the winter that will be my daily driver for the 2016 driving season, so I'm kind of clearing out the stables to make room for new meat. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
