Looks and drives brand new, paint perfect,interior shows no sign of water damage, all electronics work properly. 01/07/2016 Texas salvage title (shows water damage on title) was issued, all fluids were changed and passed texas veh inspection. On 02/02/2016 was taken to San Antonio BMW for rough idle at start up & ck engine light on, the found a leak in an intake hose, reset light, test drove, it started and ran perfect (have documation for all this). Couple wks or so it started the rough idle at start up for 30-45 seconds, a couple days later ck engine light came on. I then had BMW service to do diagonist test and they replaced all 4 coils, #4 cyl injector and new spark plugs (pic included) after 3 days (guess they were experimenting @ my expence) picked up car it run perfect for a few days, then rough idle at start up showed up again. Was told "maybe turbo charger, cathletic converter or other injectors?) On cold start up idles rough for 30-45 seconds & a few drops of clear water and a white vapor/fog comes out of exhaust, then it runs perfect, idles at 7-8 hundred rpm as it should, restarts perfect while warm, been driving it this way for a while. Suggested might take to Houston or Austin to bigger BMW serv dept, tired of the trial and error plan.Now I'm over 75 yrs old and due to family health problems have to return to western ND ASAP and their are no BMW dlrs with in 300 miles, next to impossible to get repairs up there so rather than letting it set here for 18 months or so (probably won't be able to return next winter) I will sell to best offer and get headed home. My loss is your gain I love the car but enough is enough.Have clear title as well as documented paper work. Good luck to someone buying this very nice Compact Luxury car and having time to get repaired right.
