Vehicle Detail
You will have to beat my $12,000 written offer as a trade in from Tesla and PLEASE do NOT bid if you are NOT GOING TO BUY THE CAR!!!!!!! I was going to keep this car but as described below but have now decided to sell. Truly the finest machine I've ever owned. A true head turner and it performance is always impressive. Own this $100+K Supercar for a fraction of the price. At this price don't let the high mileage scare you. The look is timeless and unless you have detailed knowledge of the subtle model year Jaguar body changes it is the outstanding Jaguar flagship sports car it really is!I just put all new tires and went over the car because I was going to keep it for another 40K miles but that "little old lady" bounced off my passenger door and front fender truly causing only cosmetic damage. You see the picture, it clearly shows the damage was bent sheet metal. No air bag, no structural, nothing that has compromised the car in any way. Repaired in late December through Insurance claim plus some additional money from me. The repair was done with the installation of a new door and fender and then I had them go over the entire car, stripped the hood/front bumper removing the 100K miles of stone chips. The hood and bumper was additional work I had done while it was there, there was NO damage to anything other than the door and fender sheet metal. It now simply looks absolutely stunning! Every time you get in these cars you say "Wow"! There was a reported accident in 2010 before I got the car. There has been no apparent operational effect and I really have not been able tell what happened based upon any possible problems from it or any physical evidence.Oil changed every 7,500 miles with full synthetic, this car runs so strong it's hard to describe. I bought it at 60K miles and am the second owner. Garage kept. Interior in Great condition. Adaptive cruise control is amazing (a precursor to self driving cars). Sound system, Keyless entry, Navigation, push button start, adaptive headlights, automatic climate control, paddle shifters, heated seats, back-up assist, automatic wipers, Bluetooth, all make the sensory experience top of the line. The only things it really doesn't have is a back-up camera and cooled seats. There has been allot of work done, allot because of the Factory Warrantee it had to 75K miles. The way the Dealer handles maintenance and repairs is "replace not repair". I complained of "a sound" coming from the rear drive train and they replaced the drive shaft, differential, and both axels out to the brakes at about 64K, possibly low diff fluid or something. I complained about it running rough like the gas supply was compromised and they replaced the gas tank, all the gas lines and sensors at about 72K, probably just one of the sensors. I replaced all the pulleys and main drive belt at about 75K. Water pump & a bunch of hoses at about 85K. New Brake pads all around and front rotors at 88K miles. New Bosch battery last summer. I have all the records for my ownership. Just had motor mounts and control arms replaced after a 10 month argument with the extended warrantee Co I bought from 75K miles through 100K coverage from. This car is ready for many miles of trouble free enjoyment. There has also been a Slight "tapping" (less than like 2 seconds) upon start up no more 5% of the time for the past 20,000+ miles, the dealer and mechanic can't figure it out and there is no other symptoms that can be attributed to it and they simply consider it a non-issue. The all modular Aluminum frame is phenomenally strong, with this mileage it has you'd expect to hear SOME kind of rattling or "looseness" but it's 99% as tighth as the day I got in it. If I keep it for now that's fine, if you want to have a car like this at Chevy Impala price, don't pass it up. I will come off my price a little but I do expect something for the $8,000 of work done in the last 120 days. Come see the car in north Jersey, (201) 213-3588. Initially text or email preferred. The car is offered locally so this post is conditioned on possible early cancellation. Dont wait, this IS a good deal.......
