1970 Ford Maverick Grabber painted in Bright Lime. 302 V-8 with a few upgrades to include an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Holley 4bbl carburetor, and HEI distributor. This was a recent restoration when I bought it but to take it a step further the entire front suspension has been upgraded to a Global West coil over front suspension. This is a quality suspension upgrade to tubular A arms and dual adjustable shocks. The entire front rack is also new from the steering box to the ball joints. The car is equipped with front disc brakes, a top loader 4 speed manual transmission, dual exhaust, and a posi-trac rear differential. A rare 1970 gas tank was also found and installed in this car along with a new stainless steel fuel sending unit. The interior is new with no rips or tears and the manual transmission is finished with a Hurst shifter. The heater core, blower motor, and heater box assembly, and hoses were just replaced also. The wheels are from the American Racing Custom Shop and are the aluminum Magnum 500 style wheel fitted with new Cooper Cobra tires all around. The instrument cluster is modified to have a factory appearing tachometer alongside the speedometer cluster. Since the warning lights were omitted in the tachometer mod, mini gauges were installed to monitor volt, oil pressure, and temp. This is an exceptional car mechanically and cosmetically and can be driven whenever or wherever you desire.
