Vehicle Detail
This is a gorgeous and well-loved bike that has seen many great mods and adventures. It has a new custom fairing scheme, new parts, and looks great! It was my first bike, and it's finally time for me to move on... 7 amazing years later! If you don't follow bikes closely, the 2003 Honda CBR600RR was Honda's first race replica to launch one of its strongest product lines. (These puppies won "every Supersport World Championship title from 2002 to 2008, and again in 2010 and 2014.") This bike would be an awesome starter biker for any new rider. Everything runs smooth and should be good to go! It has a new set of tires ready to put on (still in the factory packaging; included with purchase), and it had its battery replaced about 2 years ago. It had spark plugs changed just last spring, and I also replaced the headlight assembly. Brake pads were replaced in 2013. The only thing I'd suggest is having a certified dealer look at engine valves in the near future. With the amount of miles this bike has, those may be due for adjustment down the road. The bike has a clean title, and it's just shy of 30k miles. It’s never given me any issues, it's been garage kept (in fact, it's still stored about an hour north of Columbus in a climate-controlled garage), and I keep it up on stands every year with Sta-Bil in the tank. I know the original owner (a best friend and motorcycle mentor), and he and I gave the bike one final set of mods before our last annual tour with her last spring. In total, here are all of the bike's mods from its lifetime in my hands:Dynojet Power Commander V (for Honda CBR600RR 2003-2006)frame sliders2003-2006 Honda CBR-600RR Blaster-X integrated LED tail lightcustom CBR600RR reflective wheel tapeetched "RR" Street Bikes Unlimited Bullnose bar end sliderscustom burnt orange and black plastics set injection molded fairing (includes racing seat cowl; pictured in most of the photos, but the bike currently has the standard black rear seat cushion)tank guardmidnight black windshieldOptional items I'd consider selling with the bike (please contact me):dual USB charger (connects to tender assembly)Ventura L-bracket assembly, “Pack Rack,” and “grab handle" (You can see the bike pictured with the packs on, but I plan to keep the packs. The grab hand is nice for passengers, and the Pack Rack can serve as a back rest when attached.)Venom sport bike wheel lift stands (front & rear combo for fork & swingarm)small HJC CL-11 helmetAirHawk small pillion seat cushionany other trinkets I find laying around that might be useful to a first-time riderThe bike has two sets of keys and the Ventura adjustment key (if the L-brackets are desired with he bike). The original manual is available, and I can provide any other paperwork that might be desired. Just contact me for inquiries. The bike comes as-is, and buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipping. The bike is currently at zip code 43315. However, I plan to bring it down to Columbus (43215) upon purchase. I would be happy to meet a buyer for delivery at a public location around Columbus (preferably campus area or Short North / Italian Village). I'm willing to be flexible on payment options and could look into PayPal, depending on the fees.On Mar-01-16 at 18:41:51 PST, seller added the following information: This is a gorgeous and well-loved bike that has seen many great mods and adventures.
