My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a BMW 525i. The E39 chassis is one of the best BMW's to buy, in my opinion. It is an excellent blend of new technology and luxury while staying close the BMW's roots of simplicity and reliability. I would rate the exterior of this 525i to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. It is finished in Orient Blue over tan which is a great color combination. The deep blue finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect to find a few common sign of age such as small chips and scrapes here and there. On this specific vehicle, there are a few scratches on the trunk lid. Otherwise, nothing really out of the ordinary. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this BMW is. I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior shows well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets also show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The tan leather seats look good and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The steering wheel is heated, too...which is a very rare option (and a very good option to have). The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which looks and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean. Mechanically, this 525i appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. You can feel a light vibration in the wheel under breaking from highway speeds. It could be brake pads but it is most likely early signs of wear in the front bushings, which is common at this age. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. On occasion, the yellow brake and ABS lights will come and go. Some times they stay on, sometimes they stay off and sometimes they pop on and off seemingly at random. The car feels fine on the road so I wouldn't worry too much about it as it is most often just a dirty or faulty wheel speed sensor. I've personally driven the car more than 100 miles with no issues. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Double checking the title, I noticed that it is marked "not actual mileage" so it will be sold that way. I don't have any further history on this car so please don't ask. The tamper dot is on in the instrument cluster, which means it was probably replaced with a used one for some reason. What you see is what you get...a clean 2003 525i that runs and drives great. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a BMW 525i. The E39 chassis is one of the best BMW's to buy, in my opinion. It is an excellent blend of new technology and luxury while staying close the BMW's roots of simplicity and reliability. I would rate the exterior of this 525i to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a beautiful sedan. It is finished in Orient Blue over tan which is a great color combination. The deep blue finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. As with any older car, please expect to find a few common sign of age such as small chips and scrapes here and there. On this specific vehicle, there are a few scratches on the trunk lid. Otherwise, nothing really out of the ordinary. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with good tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this BMW is.
I would rate the interior of this BMW to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The interior shows well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets also show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The tan leather seats look good and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The steering wheel is heated, too...which is a very rare option (and a very good option to have). The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The audio system has been upgraded with an aftermarket CD player which looks and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The trunk is spacious and clean.
Mechanically, this 525i appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.5L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. The steering and brakes feel good, too. You can feel a light vibration in the wheel under breaking from highway speeds. It could be brake pads but it is most likely early signs of wear in the front bushings, which is common at this age. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. On occasion, the yellow brake and ABS lights will come and go. Some times they stay on, sometimes they stay off and sometimes they pop on and off seemingly at random. The car feels fine on the road so I wouldn't worry too much about it as it is most often just a dirty or faulty wheel speed sensor. I've personally driven the car more than 100 miles with no issues. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. Double checking the title, I noticed that it is marked "not actual mileage" so it will be sold that way. I don't have any further history on this car so please don't ask. The tamper dot is on in the instrument cluster, which means it was probably replaced with a used one for some reason. What you see is what you get...a clean 2003 525i that runs and drives great. Winning Bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us via eBay Message within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. Please do not leave a voicemail on the office phone.
Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
