Vehicle Detail

Thanks for checking out my 1990 Mustang for sale. It is a true two owner car that has stayed in my family. Purchased the car from my older (70) cousin from Maryland last year. Car has always been garage kept between us. I am only selling because I am following his footsteps, and I start the Sheriff's Academy in May and my new place doesn't have a garage sadly. Interior is absolutely flawless; the pictures don't do justice. The body is also gorgeous, with one small chip on the hood that I have attached. I received a $500 estimate to fix it, so if you are interested I can have the car fixed before I ship it. The car stays in my garage under a cover (which I am including), and I get complements every time I take her out. The spare tire and tools are all there, and there is a book with a fair amount of receipts inside it. Original color was red, and I repainted Bright Atlantic Blue. I had the engine bay painted flat black, because the plans were to put a 347 in, and paint BAB once I had it out. When I purchased the car last year I changed the following; engine oil, transmission and rear end oil, spark plugs & wires. My cousin did some auto cross racing for a few years, so the car has a very aggressive suspension. It has front and rear sway bars, new springs and shocks, camber plates, lowered slightly, among other items I am unsure of. (He did most of this when he first bought the car 26 years ago so his memory isn't the best). The back tires rub slightly if you go up an aggressive driveway. I was going to get a slightly skinnier tire to fix this issue, but don't use the car enough to go through tires. The tires in the front are 95% new, and the back are at about 75%. Since I have had the car, I tinted the windows, took the mufflers off after I smogged it (with no issues), put in a CD player, wired the car for a system, (but never installed), and put on a cold air intake. I also bought the 2003/4 Cobra rims. My cousin put in a bigger throttle body, and claimed he up the timing a few degrees. I run Mobile 1 oil only, and do not have any burning issues. It does leak a few drops between changes, so be careful if your garage has white carpet. The AC does not currently work, but my mechanic is fairly confident that it just needs a charge. The heater is ok, but I would imagine the core might need to be changed if you are planning to use it a lot. I live in Southern California, so I only take the care out when it's 80 degrees, and keep the windows down. The defrosters work great. The left rear back up light is out, but I will include two new LED back up lights. I have also installed 6 new clear lamps up front with HID's as well. The wipers, turn signals, and everything else work just great. The molding on the passenger side door could be replaced. Not an eye sore by any means, just trying to be completely open about everything. Note all pictures and video below were taken on my regular phone, not touched up, and not from a professional camera; car looks that sharp. Please feel free to text and/or call me w/ any questions. I'm up early Monday-Friday for work, so East Coast people don't have to worry about waking me up. I will consider ending the auction early if the right price is offered. I will assist anyone flying in by picking them up at the airport, or assisting w/ shipping if needed. I will take an over night cashier's check once the auction is complete, or cash of course. As you saw above, this is a NO RESERVE auction. Sadly I need to get rid of her as I have no where to store her, so hopefully she goes for a fair price. Good luck, and God bless.Andrew 951-712-3826 Carfax Reportcarfax.com/showroom/#/report/1FACP41E0LF113206 Please check out the video below!youtu.be/TkRD7MD6zQgOn Feb-24-16 at 17:37:15 PST, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention I replaced the battery last week because I was sitting most of the winter.
