Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. We did not observe any undercarriage damage. It has both roof airbags deployed. We don't know how they deployed but might have happened if the truck went off road or hit the wheels hard. We've driven the vehicle on a local road and engine runs great and it drives straight. Tranny shifts normal. No warning lights on the dash besides the airbag light due to the blown roof bags. No suspension damage observed. Overall truck is in great condition inside out with light paint scratches. Great condition indicates it was well maintained by its previous owner. Has very low 78k miles, all power equipment with power sunroof. The great news is that the truck starts, engine runs great, and tranny shifts normal. Should be a very easy fixer with no body work and mainly needs two roof airbags, driver seatbelt, and roof liner. We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) at hand and ready to transfer to the new owner. Such vehicles can be legally returned back to the roads after repairs and your state motor vehicles inspection. We did not observe any undercarriage damage. It has both roof airabags deployed. We don't know how they deployed but might have happened if the truck went off road or hit the wheels hard. We've driven the vehicle on a local road and engine runs great and it drives straight. Tranny shifts normal. No warning lights on the dash besides the airbag light due to the blown roof bags. No suspension damage observed. Overall truck is in great condition inside out with light paint scratches. Great condition indicates it was well maintained by its previous owner. Has very low 78k miles, all power equipment with power sunroof.
The great news is that the truck starts, engine runs great, and tranny shifts normal. Should be a very easy fixer with no body work and mainly needs two roof airbags and roof liner. A SMALL NOTE ON SALVAGE VEHICLES
We specifically deal with light damaged or theft recovered salvage rebuildable vehicles. This vehicle was picked up from an insurance auction for resale. We directly purchase from insurance auctions and no middle man involved. Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Or the owner might not want the vehicle after going through an accident even if the damages are light and easily repairable such as our cars. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.
We have the salvage certificate of title (no-liens) in our possession and it will be re-assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed). Please check with your local motor vehicle center for the exact procedures and rules/regulations.
