Transmission is blown and needs to be replaced. You need to have this Expedition towed. I listed this vehicle previously, then decided to maybe keep it, but realistically I should let it go. If you were watching it last time, I apologize and guarantee it will be left up this time. Mea culpa. The engine is strong and starts right up with no problem. Up until last week this vehicle was used regularly for Home Depot trips and bringing my kids back and forth to college. It has served us very well, handles wonderfully in the snow, and is a pleasure to drive. However, the tranny just blew and because this is an extra vehicle in our family, I'm not going to bother with the repair. Please look at the photos closely. In general, the car is pretty clean inside. It needs a wipe down and vacuuming. It has rear air and heat, but when I turn on that blower, it makes a clicking noise in the rear. Not sure what that is, but it still works fine. This car also has the DVD entertainment in the ceiling. I haven't used it, but just popped in a DVD and it plays fine. Some of the paint is bubbled or peeling (again, look at the photos), but in general it's still pretty good. The CD player part of the radio reports an error, so I don't use it. The AM/FM works fine. You will also see in some pictures an XM Radio, and in some pics it's missing. It stopped working so I have removed it but left the wiring in place. This Expedition has the 3rd row of seats, and the seating surfaces in the 2nd and 3rd row are in excellent condition. The front seats have some wear and cracking in the leather in places. The brake lines were all replaced about a year ago. In general, this vehicle was ultra-dependable for us, but only used occasionally, so as I said, it's not worth it for me to repair it.
