European Motor Studio is proud to offer this gorgeous 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL finished in a rare combination of Champagne over Palomino with an original Brown softop and matching Champagne hardtop. This SL left the factory in June of 1986 making it one of the last model year 86 SL’s off the line before production began on 87 model year SL’s. The car was sold new in FL and remained there with the first owner until 2011 when it was sold to its second and final owner. The car was always maintained by Mercedes-Benz, most notably, Mercedes-Benz of Orlando. The car retains its original factory Champagne paint and shows very well with a nice overall appearance and luster for its age. There are two small spots on the hood that show some sun fade along with one small one on the rear trunk and a small area under the gas cap in the rear passenger quarter fender and the hard convertible boot lid has a few scratches on it and one small ding. The trim, chrome and rubber all show well with minimal wear or issues. This SL wears its original Palomino leather interior and looks gorgeous. The leather show almost no wear aside from some light scuffing on the driver seat bolster. The carpets all look excellent and free from any damage or stains and the center console and dash show beautifully, free from any damage or cracking. The softop is the original top the car left the factory with and shows incredibly well for its age and free from any tears or rips. The engine starts right up and idles smoothly and freely without any hesitation or smoke. The car shifts smoothly through all of its gears and accelerates smoothly through the whole RPM range without any hesitation or issues. The suspension feels tight and precise as do the brakes and steering. All of the electronics appear to be working as designed except for the radio. The AC turns on and blows cold, the heater blows warm, the windows work, the cruise is operating, the door locks are working, the power mirror and all dash lights and exterior lights are operating. The tires are about 60-70% tread life left and the car has just been serviced. The original owners handbook, convertible top book and warranty book come with the car along with two original keys, the original hardtop/convertible top tool and the original first aid kit are all present with the car. A Carfax report is present and is clean and clear, the car has never been involved in any type of accident and has not had any type of repair work or damage. The car is all original and has no rust anywhere on the car.
