This is a very nice Mazda Miata Type R. There were 111 of these built in '96. They came with Bilstein sport shocks, HD springs and sway bars, Torsen limited slip differential, front air dam, rear spoiler and skirt. The only options were air conditioning and hardtop. It has no power steering, cruise, power windows, etc. This one came with air, and I added the hardtop. The top is also a '96, so has the defrost wires in the window, but the switch and wiring would have to be added if you would like to use the rear window defrost. I live in Arizona, so decided not to do that. The paint is in very good condition with a few small chips and no rust. The interior is also very good showing minimal wear. It has 84K miles and everything works as it should. The engine holds excellent oil pressure and runs perfectly. The transmission shifts as it should. The engine compartment is clean as is the trunk. It has the original spare tire cover and lug wrench sheath. The original owners manual is in the original case. It has had a four wheel alignment and comes with a Hard Dog roll bar and new Pioneer radio with CD player and upgraded speakers (the original cassette player and speakers come with the car). I am 69 years old and have owned dozens of cars. This one is by far the most fun to drive.
